Enjoys working with the VA Ann Arbor Technology Transfer Program (TTP) helping research investigators translate scientific and technological developments into new products, processes, applications, or services. The TTP works closely with VA regional and national VA Tech Transfer Offices, the VAAAHS non-profit the Veterans Education and Research Association of Michigan (VERAM), and the VAAAHS academic affiliate the University of Michigan. Practicing Nephrologist with research interests that include technology development for renal, cardiac, and vascular diseases. Research in end-stage renal disease, vascular access for dialysis, fluid and volume status assessment, software and algorithm development, and novel imaging modalities including ultrasound strain and elasticity imaging.
