Dr. Bill Stager, an Osteopathic physician, has been a holistic general practitioner in West Palm Beach since 1990. His educational background includes 4 academic degrees, 4 medical Fellow degrees, and 2 board certifications: a BA in Philosophy and Master of Science in Anatomy from Rutgers University, NJ, an undergraduate teaching Fellowship in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine and Doctor of Osteopathy from Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine, FL, and MPH from ATSU, Kirksville, MO. He completed a general internship in 1990 at Humana Hospital, Hollywood, FL. His medical acupuncture training was through UCLA, Los Angeles, CA.
He is one of the few physicians in Florida to concurrently have the following two board certifications: Board Certified in Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine, and Board Certified in Family Practice by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Fellow of the American Academy of Medical Acupuncture, a Fellow of the American Academy of Osteopathy, and a Distinguished Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians
He has taught Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment (OMT) since 1986 all over the United States, Canada, Norway, and China, and is on the faculty of two Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (COM). He is a Clinical Professor at Nova Southeastern University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine, Department of Family Medicine, where he has received two awards for teaching in 1989 and 1998. He also serves on the faculty of Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, Department of Family Medicine, as Clinical Associate Professor.
