- Dr. William Runge is a Shoulder-to-Fingertip orthopaedic surgeon who trained at the Hospital for Special Surgery, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Emory University. Prior to entering medicine he was an Aerospace Engineer working on projects for NASA and the Army Research Laboratory, and he spent time in Australia as a Fellow of the National Science Foundation as well as being a Fulbright Scholar in Belgium where he worked with the European Space Agency. He received his medical degree from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine in 2017 and completed fellowship training in both Hand surgery as well as Shoulder-Elbow surgery. He has conducted research and published extensively in both engineering and in medicine.
