Summary
- I am a Board Certified Physiatrist (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specialist) and Board Certified in Electromyography/Electrodiagnostic Medicine. I continue my long tenure with the wonderful PM&R team at Dodd Rehabilitation Hospital of The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. I am proud to continue this institution's history of excellence in electromyography, and nerve and muscle problems. My other, and related, interest is in gait, a continuing fascination since my introduction to the topic as an engineering student under Dr. Shiavi at Vanderbilt University School of Engineering. Rehabilitation of stroke survivors is a large part of my practice and teaching, always exploring better ways to restore their walking ability and other functional goals. Spasticity management including the use of botulinum toxins plays an important role in this improvement of function.
