    Dr. Bolger has been recognized for outstanding patient care and contributions to the field of Rhinology. He has been acknowledged by “The Best Doctors in America” (Best Doctors, Inc.), “America’s Top Doctors” (Castle Connolly Medical LTD), Northeast Florida’s Best Doctors, (Jacksonville Magazine) in addition to receiving the Patient’s Choice, Compassionate Physicians and numerous other awards.

    Dr. Bolger devoted a significant portion of his career to research, education and innovation. He introduced and refined several endoscopic surgical techniques and helped pioneer instrumentation that has improved patient care. He was awarded academic grants, conducted research, and published extensively. He has written more than 100 articles, including 90 peer-reviewed manuscripts, several medical textbook chapters, and he co-edited a major textbook, Diseases of the Sinuses: Diagnosis and Management. Dr. Bolger dedicated many years to teaching otorhinolaryngologists techniques to minimize surgical complications and maximize successful outcomes. He has lectured extensively in the U.S. and abroad, and held the academic rank of Professor.

    After working at some of the top medical centers in the country caring for patients with a wide range of complex sinonasal conditions, Dr. Bolger’s desire to provide high level, comprehensive, personalized service to patients motivated him to return to the local academic medical center to serve the community's needs and bring expertise to patients in need.
