- Dr. Beckett was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas. He attended Baylor University and received his Medical Degree from University of Texas at San Antonio Medical School.
After a five-year residency in General Surgery at Baylor College of Medicine, Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery, Dr. Beckett remained at Baylor and was awarded a Fellowship in Vascular Surgery under world-renowned surgeons Michael DeBakey, MD and E Stanley Crawford, MD.
Dr. Beckett came to Vero Beach in 1990 and has remained in numerous leadership positions at Indian River Medical Center and is currently serving as Vascular Surgery Section Chief and Medical Director of the Wound Healing Center.
