- Dr. William F. Alleyne is a pulmonologist/intensivist based in Rock Hill, S.C. He is a graduate of Harvard College and the New York University School of Medicine. Following residency at Harlem Hospital Center, he completed a pulmonary/critical care fellowship at Montefiore/ Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Alleyne served as Associate Chief of Critical Care, Beth Israel Medical Center in NYC prior to relocating to Charlotte, N.C. He served as a faculty member of the Department of Medicine at Carolinas Medical Center, where he co-founded the Hospitalist program. His academic appointments include Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine, Albert Einstein College of Medicine and Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine, UNC Chapel Hill. Dr. Alleyne currently serves as an Affiliate Asst. Professor of Medicine, University of South Carolina School of Medicine. He has lectured on a variety of topics locally, nationally, and internationally.
