Summary
- Dr. Will Harrill joined Carolina ENT/Sinus and Allergy Center in 1998. He served as President and CEO of Carolina ENT/Sinus and Allergy Center from 2001 to 2018, overseeing the transformation of a solo practice into a regional provider of ENT care. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board for the practice and Director of Clinical Research.
Dr. Harrill holds Clinical Associate faculty positions within the Departments of Otolaryngology both at Wake Forest Baptist Health and the University of North Carolina School of Medicine.
With an interest in development of Value-Based Healthcare models, he played an instrumental role in bringing an ambulatory surgical center to the region. Serving as the founding Chairman of the Board of the Viewmont Surgery Center from 2008-2010, he helped to bring lower cost ambulatory surgery options to patients in the region for out-patient surgery.
Within the North Carolina Medical Society, he serves as co-chair of the North Carolina Otolaryngology Healthcare Policy Advisory Committee (OHPAC), which engages insurance companies on health policy and value-based healthcare strategies for otolaryngology.
Dr. Harrill is board certified by the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and is a Fellow of the Triological Society, having published his Triologic thesis on treatment outcomes for nasal obstruction. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy. Within the American Academy of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery, he serves on the Socioeconomic and Grassroots Committee within the Board of Governors and is the head of the subcommittee on Value-Based Healthcare.
