Summary
- I trained in robotic surgery starting in 2009. In 2012, after completing over 100 cases, I was hired by the Permanente medical group, South Sacramento Kaiser, to start the complex GYN robotics program. After the program was vetted regionally, we were able to expand robotic surgery for complex gynecologic conditions across the entire Northern California Kaiser Permanente system. I led that system Regionally for 12 years, but with over 2000 robotic procedures in my resume, in 2024 I decided to return to private practice in order to serve the Sacramento community in a broader and more meaningful way. As the owner of Sacramento Surgical Consultants, currently affiliated to Capital OBGYN, I am proud to serve the complex Gyn surgical needs of the Greater Sacramento patients, regardless of insurance type.
