  • Recognized as an internationally renowned expert and Key Opinion Leader (KOL) in the fields of Gastrointestinal (GI) cancers, Experimental Therapeutics and Pharmacogenetics. I have distinguished myself in terms of clinical care, teaching, research and administration. I do carry the vision of a strategic leader with knowledge and experience in academic institutions, health centers, and teaching hospitals. I have demonstrated experience as a leader who inspires faculty and staff to work together to maximize the potential of the department. I understand cancer research and cancer care from the perspective of personal clinical practice experience. I have participated in the management of clinical enterprise and demonstrated an understanding of the issues involved.

    I have cultured over the years, the qualities of leadership, collaboration, communication, and fairness, which all are required to perform any executive job. I am always considered as a valuable member and an effective leader of successful multi-disciplinary cancer management teams with a passion for mentoring and thrives in highly pressurized working environments.

    I have published over 600 peer-reviewed articles about cancer treatment and research and over 90 abstracts, and over 2 dozens of book chapters.

    I have been selected as the “America's Top Oncologist” as well as the “Leading physician of the World”.

    In summary, I have been blessed to contribute to both society and science with a proven track record of significant achievements in the context of clinical research, teaching, mentoring and administration. I owe my successes to God, my parents, patients, family, friends and peers.
