- After a rotating internship at Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC I served as a resident in psychiatry at then Hillside Hospital in Glen Oaks, Queens, NY, for a year, then as a physician in the US Air Force for two years, then as a resident in ophthalmology at Mount Sinai Hospital in NYC for a year and a half. I then took a leave of absence, attended Columbia Law School, and practiced law in NYC for 43 years before retiring in 2017.
