Dr. Wang is part of Downtown Gastroenterology Associates-- which includes Lena Wang PA-C, Elaine Pan NP, Tak Shing Sak PA-C, Dr. Danny Chu (朱奇峰醫生), Dr. Mark Chu (朱金峰醫生) and Dr. Sandy Ng (伍慧彩醫生)
Dr. Wang manages patients with all types of gastrointestinal disorders and hepatopancreaticobiliary diseases. He specializes in therapeutic procedures including Colonoscopy and Upper Endoscopy. He performs all his procedures at Flushing Endoscopy Center.
Dr. Wang received his medical degree from New York Medical College. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Albany Medical Center, the main teaching hospital of Albany Medical College-- where he also served as Chief Resident. He completed his Gastroenterology Fellowship training at NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens. He pursued additional subspecialty training with an Advanced Therapeutic Endoscopy Fellowship at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, under the guidance of Dr. David L. Carr-Locke, a world-renowned endoscopist and a pioneer in the field of ERCP. Dr. Wang was a full time faculty member at Weill Cornell Medicine prior to joining Downtown Gastroenterology Associates.
He is board certified in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Wang is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and has a working proficiency of Cantonese, Spanish.
Dr. Wallace Wang also cares for Dr. Jackson Kuan's former Flushing patients.
