Summary
- After growing up in northern Wisconsin enjoying competition as a three sport athlete, Dr. Flannery attended UW-Eau Claire earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Science with a Major in Biology. He went on to complete his medical degree at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. During this time he received certification of completing the Wisconsin Academy of Rural Medicine (WARM) program. This training focused on injuries and conditions specific to patients in a rural setting. Dr. Flannery fulfilled his orthopedic residency training program at the University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics. He sought additional training in minimally invasive anterior hip replacement and other joint replacement techniques.
He and his wife, who works as a pediatrician in the area, have two daughters. Together they enjoy sports, the outdoors, and being active in the community.
