- I am currently practicing general gastroenterology and hepatology with a specialty focus on Inflammatory Bowel Diseases, such as Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis. I am also active with the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America.
I completed my General Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship at The Ohio State University. I am trained in a variety of procedures including upper endoscopy, colonoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, push enteroscopy, foreign body removal, esophageal dilation, colonic dilation, polypectomy (including endoscopic mucosal resection), esophageal variceal band ligation, video capsule endoscopy, percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy tube placement, interpretation of esophageal and anorectal manometries, interpretation of esophageal pH and impedance studies, and management of gastrointestinal bleeding.
