Dr. Vivy Cusumano is a gastroenterologist in Los Angeles, CA. Dr. Cusumano graduated with honors from University of California, Los Angeles with a bachelor’s degree in biology. Following this, she then obtained her medical degree at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and then completed her internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at UCLA. At UCLA, she served as chief gastroenterology fellow and was also awarded the Compassionate Care Award which honors the graduating fellow who excels at using humanistic qualities when taking care of their patients. Dr. Cusumano’s primary research interests include inflammatory bowel disease and colon cancer screening.

Dr. Cusumano specializes in general gastroenterology with clinical interests that include inflammatory bowel disease, functional bowel disorders/disorders of brain-gut interaction, esophageal and gastric disorders, gastroesophageal reflux, colorectal disorders, and colonoscopy and endoscopy. She is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association, American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American College of Gastroenterology and is board certified in internal medicine.
