Summary
- I am in solo practice in medical oncology, with an emphasis on neuro-oncology. Although I see a wide variety of solid tumors, about 70% of my patients have a primary or metastatic brain tumor. Neuro-oncology is a very team-oriented specialty, with a lot of interaction between pathologists, radiologists, neurosurgeons, neurologists, and radiation oncologists. But the best kept secret is that neuro-oncologists also have the best patients: they all want to live long and prosper.
