  • Dr. Viraj Master is a urologic oncologist in Atlanta, GA and is Professor at Emory University. He received his MD and PhD degrees from University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and has been in practice 20 years. He specializes in urologic oncology and is experienced in adrenal neoplasms, testicular neoplasms, penile neoplasms, and renal cell carcinoma, particularly advanced stages. He has published over 350 scientific papers, and hold 2 patents. He and his colleagues have devised new methods for lymph node removal and authored the first book on groin dissection in 30 years.

    Dr. Master has a particular interest in advanced kidney cancer, particularly tumors involving the vena cava, and is amongst the highest volume surgeons world-wide for this condition.

    Dr. Master is also Director of Integrative Oncology and Survivorship at Emory Winship Cancer Institute.
