- Vincent Vann Jr., MD, PhD is an ophthalmologist who specializes in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery. He graduated from the Combined MD/PhD Program at University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine in 1994. He completed his residency in ophthalmology at Case Western Reserve University, and a two year fellowship at Retina and Vitreous of Texas in Houston, Texas. Dr Vann has practiced as a vitreoretinal surgeon since completing his fellowship in 2000. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Society of Retina Specialists. He has expertise in the management of complex retinal detachments, proliferative vitreoretinopathy, macular degeneration, macular holes, epiretinal membranes, retinal vein occlusions, and diabetic retinopathy.
