- Dr. Vincent McGinniss is a board certified Cosmetic and Reconstructive Facial Plastic Surgeon. He is fellowship trained in facial plastic surgery and help found a new facial plastics fellowship program in Melbourne, Florida. Dr. McGinniss has been honored with the title of Fellow in his academy by the board of governors of the American Osteopathic Colleges of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and he is also a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and the International Society of Regenerative Medicine.
Dr. McGinniss is passionate about teaching and currently serves as clinical faculty for the Oster Institute in Chicago. He has also been invited to speak at numerous international and national conferences supported by the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and the American Osteopathic Colleges of Ophthalmology and Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
Dr. McGinniss was Chief Resident in his senior year where he completed his residency training in Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery through Michigan State University. He completed his internship at the Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan, and was elected chief intern by his peers. Dr. McGinniss graduated from medical school with Sigma Sigma Phi honors from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine on an Air Force scholarship.
Dr. McGinniss has additional aerospace medical training through the U.S. Air Force. He served as a Flight Surgeon for the 354th Fighter Squadron based at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, Arizona. In this role, Dr. McGinniss served with the rank of Captain for three years of active duty, providing medical care for aircrew, special operational duty personnel, and their families.
