- I approach my psychiatric practice from a “biopsychosocial person in environment perspective” including, consideration of the intersection of mental health and both chronic and infectious diseases. I am warm, collaborative and value genuine interaction with my patients. I specialize in the mental health of individuals at risk of or living with HIV, provision of services to sexual and gender minorities, and in the provision of culturally appropriate psychiatric care to communities of color. Clinically, I provide psychiatric evaluation and medication management for a range of mental health and psychiatric disorders- in particular, mood disorders. In addition, I provide focused sexual and reproductive health screening and treatment (i.e., STI screening, treatment, PEP, PreP, etc.) services as part of his practice. I am bilingual and bicultural and provides services in both English and Spanish.
