- Dr. Victor Mejia is an interventional cardiologist and is a member of the North East Medical Group of the Yale New Haven Health System. He primarily works out of YNHH Bridgeport Hospital where he is the Program Director of the Interventional Cardiology Fellowship and Co-Medical Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab. He has helped develop and expand the structural heart disease program at Bridgeport Hospital, including transcatheter aortic valve replacement and transcatheter left atrial appendage occlusion. He has been awarded teaching awards multiple times for his dedication to the education of the cardiology fellows and is a perennial Castle Connolly Top Doctor award winner. He received his medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University. He is fluent in Spanish.
