- Victor Cohen is a physician resident at Harvard Medical School | Cambridge Health Alliance Adult Psychiatry Residency Program. He is the grandson of Holocaust survivors and was raised in Mexico before immigrating to the United States. Seeing how intergenerational trauma, inequality, and discrimination affect the mental health of those in marginalized communities inspired him to become a psychiatrist. Victor is also passionate about teaching and has led various classes on scientific topics, including organic chemistry, biochemistry, and the psychology of close relationships. In 2018, he established an MCAT preparatory company called Testing for Victory with a mission to increase the diversity of physicians by empowering underprivileged students through affordable and accessible education.
