Summary
- I chose family practice because its broad scope enables me to deal with a variety of medical and social issues. I enjoy working with families and caring for all members from infancy to adulthood. I strives to serve as a patient advocate and focus on preventive medicine, early intervention and a healthy lifestyle to maintain good health.
My philosophy of care is “treat others as you would like to be treated”.
I am fluent in English and Spanish.
Clinical Interests:
•Wellness and health through lifestyle, nutrition and prevention. I would rather recommend a trip to the grocery store or farmer’s market over the pharmacy.
•3 year training in Dermatology and procedural medicine. I regularly perform (and teach to residents and students) outpatient procedures including skin procedures, joint injections and vasectomies.
•Medical technology. I like to stay on the cutting edge of emerging medical technology. I have been an EMR Superuser since 2004 and I routinely pilot and implement new technologies in the clinical setting.
