• Dr. Venkatesh Bellamkonda, or Venk, as he prefers is Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Consultant in the
  Department of Emergency Medicine, at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. His career passions all center around optimization – through process improvement,
  ultrasound, education and other aspects. He has served in many leadership roles including director of curriculum for Mayo Clinic’s Quality Academy, overseeing education for sixty thousand employees, and currently as chair of education for the department of emergency medicine. He is author to just over 30 publications, not to mention blog posts, podcasts, news interviews and the like. He is cofounder of the Always on EM Podcast, which has listeners in just under 100 countries, and is a top rated podcast in emergency medicine. Through this
  journey, he has been invited to speak internationally and has received many recognitions for his teaching including as Teacher of the Year for the department
  of Emergency medicine. Venk has an interest to make healthcare more accessible for everyone – that means he aims through all of his work to create spaces where everyone feels comfortable asking questions no matter what they are, spaces
  where we share answers in the simplest way possible, and where we see people as folks we care about in our shared community. That is the work he is putting forth in his clinical work, and at home, where he is proud father to three amazing
  boys and trophy husband to the better half of the Bellamkonda physician family.
