Summary
- Dr. Vanessa Rein is an associate professor of medicine in the division of endocrinology at the University of Wisconsin. She is the medical director for the UW Health outpatient diabetes and endocrine clinics and oversees the inpatient diabetes and endocrine consultative services. She is also the physician lead for the UW Health Diabetes Quality Committee, which focuses on improving the quality and safety of care for inpatients with diabetes. In addition, Dr. Rein is a longitudinal teaching coach at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health, a role in which she teaches and mentors medical students throughout all phases of their medical education. She has special interests in patients with pituitary tumors and works closely with neurosurgery as part of a multidisciplinary pituitary disease clinic at UW Health.
