Summary
- Dr. Moll is an adjunct Associate Professor at Emory University School of Medicine and Chief Medical Officer at Potrero Medical. As CMO, Dr. Moll set the medical and clinical strategy of the company, oversees a large multi-center registry study, and works cross-functional with Quality, Regulatory, R&D, Clinical Development/Operations, and Marketing. Dr. Moll was the instrumental clinical lead in the development of an AI-driven algorithm predicting acute kidney injury (AKI) in cardiac surgery patients (FDA breakthrough application). Previously at Emory, Dr. Moll served as the Medical Director of the CVICU at EUHM and the Director of Quality and Standards of the Emory Critical Care Center, overseeing QA and QI for 14 ICUs (174 beds). Dr. Moll currently works per diem as an intensivist at Sutter Santa Rosa.
Dr. Moll trained both in Europe and in the US in Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine and is board certified in the US, Germany, and Switzerland.
She most recently worked as a consultant at the Institute of Anesthesiology, University Hospital Zurich, Switzerland (2020-2021).
Dr. Moll is passionate about global health advocacy and equity, hemodynamics, regional anesthesia in the ICU, AKI, and intra-abdominal hypertension.
