Valerie Jewells, DO, is a radiologist specializing in neuroradiology and is currently a Professor at the University of North Carolina Hospitals in Chapel Hill, NC, a position she has held since 2001. She completed her medical education at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and pursued fellowships in neuroradiology at Duke University Hospital and body imaging at Drexel University College of Medicine. Her areas of experience include diagnostic neuroradiology, cerebrovascular disease, spine imaging, neuroimmunology, head and neck imaging, and pediatric imaging.
