Dr. Vaia Florou is a medical Oncologist based in Salt Lake City, Utah. She completed her fellowship in Hematology and Medical Oncology at the University of Miami/Jackson Health System from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, she completed her residency and served as a chief resident in Internal Medicine at Saint Peter's University Hospital/Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School between 2012 and 2016. She is an alumna of the University of Patras School of Medicine. Apart from clinical practice, Dr. Florou has contributed to numerous publications in recognized academic journals including the Journal of Gastrointestinal Oncology, Journal for Immunotherapy of Cancer, Cancers, Clinical Cancer Research, and Journal of Clinical Oncology. Her recently published works have been cited multiple times by other publications, indicating her active involvement in advancing her field.
