• I am an enthusiastic, goal-oriented, Board Certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with 15 years of as a RN nurse prior to my 11 years of experience working as a nurse practitioner in the clinical setting and in long-term care facilities. I have a specialized interest in diabetes management and have extensive experience managing chronic medical conditions in the above populations. Delivered compassionate and patient-centered care and was awarded for achieving a reduction in HgbA1c from an average of 9-11% to 6-7.5% in my patients at Mercy LIFE Program of All Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) over a 6-year history of employment. During this period I had hospital privileges at two major hospital systems in Mobile (Mobile Infirmary and University Hospital) and participated in patient care for our hospitalized patients. Other skills include integrated tele-medicine and home-visit setting at Monogram Health, I managed patients with advanced CKD and co-morbidities.
  I have been certified in ketamine therapy and have experience managing IV ketamine infusions and intra-nasal ketamine for treatment-resistant depression and PTSD.
  At the Clears Clinic, I currently treat patients with obesity and metabolic syndrome by utilizing the newest available medical treatments and modern technology including 3D body volume scans. I also provide Direct Primary Care (DPT) to adult patients in the outpatient setting.
