  • I am a physician scientist in fellowship in gastroenterology at the University of North Carolina. I was trained as a microbiologist in graduate school and have since continued to do research in this and other fields including immunology, nutritional science, and food science. My work involves both basic science and clinical science. After fellowship, I plan to continue in an academic career with interests in clinical practice, research, and teaching.
