Summary

• I am a Physiatrist (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician) practicing primarily in an academic setting at University Medical Center, New Orleans, and I serve as the Associate Program Director of the LSU Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency in New Orleans. My interests are in general Physical Medicine and Rehab, MSK ultrasound, NCS/EMG, outpatient musculoskeletal disorders, neck and low back pain, spinal cord injury, general rehab/spasticity management, and inpatient rehab consults. I have extensive training in injections/musculoskeletal procedures and EMG/Nerve conduction with over 3000 EMGs completed. I believe that a comprehensive Physiatric approach to musculoskeletal, spinal, and neuropathic conditions leads to more accurate diagnoses, better patient outcomes, fewer unnecessary surgeries, and better patient understanding regarding their various conditions. I treat the patient as a whole with emphasis on function and quality of life.
