Dr. Osterman's clinical interest within oncology is lung cancer. He leads the Clinical Cancer Informatics Innovation (C2I2) group whose research focuses on applying clinical informatics methods across the cancer care continuum. Current projects include identifying patients for lung cancer screening, automated clinical trial matching, and using predictive analytics to anticipate toxicity to immunotherapy. As part of this work their team develops tools used for both research and to directly support patient care.
