Her roles include being a Professor at NYU Langone Health and Chief of Orthopaedic Service at H+H/Bellevue. She has expertise in post-traumatic limb lengthening and reconstruction, orthopaedic traumatology, nonunions and malunions. Her research addresses racial disparities in healthcare and healthcare disparities in marginalized communities including incarcerated patients. Dr. McLaurin has received numerous awards for teaching, mentoring and for her work in equity and inclusion.
