- Dr. Toni Biskup is a med-peds hospitalist at the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, AK. She received her MD and MPH degrees from the University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine in 2008, completed med-peds residency at the University of Maryland in 2012, a fellowship in International Emergency Medicine at University of Illinois, Chicago, and a Master's certificate in Refugee Trauma and Mental Health from Harvard University. She served as the pediatrics residency program director for University of Pennsylvania/Vinuniversity from 2021-2022 in Hanoi, Vietnam. She is dedicated to medical education at UME, GME, and faculty levels with special focus in health equity and an anti-racism/anti-colonialism lens. She has 25+ years experience working with refugees and immigrants, working in disaster medicine, and in medical education in low resourced areas. She has been in clinical practice for over 15 years.
