Summary
- My practice is 100% focused on surgery of the peripheral nerves from head to toes. I completed a one year fellowship before doing my hand fellowship at the Dellon Institutes for Peripehral Nerve Surgery. The ‘traditional’ field of peripheral nerve surgery has mainly focused on peripheral nerve reconstruction in the upper extremity for lesions involving motor dysfunction. My practice, on the other hand focuses on a new area of peripehral nerve surgery, treating peripheral nerve injuries that cause chronic pain which is generally refractory to medical therapy. Although I’m listed as a hand surgery, I don’t actually do any traditional hand surgery unless it deals specifically with peripheral nerves.
So basically, if you have a patient suffering from chronic pain which no one else figure out, they are probably dealing with some kind of peripheral nerve injury which can be identified and corrected to relieve the pain.
For additional information, I would encourage you to browse around on my practice website or my facebook page.
