  • Dr. Timothy Page is a nationally recognized ophthalmologist specializing in complex and refractive cataract surgery. He has delivered hundreds of lectures on the topic of eye surgery including an annual invitation to the Harvard University Intensive Cataract Surgery Course, and the University of Michigan Lens and Cataract Review Course.
    He has received a number of peer-nominated honors and awards. At the national level, he has received the Castle Connolly “Best Doctors in America” and U.S. News and World Report “Top Doctors” for many consecutive years. In Michigan, he was elected by his peers as president of the Michigan Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, the governing body of Michigan ophthalmologists. Locally, he is an Hour Magazine “Hall of Fame Top Doc”, and Ambassador Magazine “Top Doc”.
    An accomplished scientific author and inventor, Dr. Page has pioneered surgical concepts in ophthalmic surgery. He holds several patents, and in 2019 he won the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS) Film Festival for his ideas in the category of “Instruments & Devices/Intraocular Lenses”. Also in 2019, for his pioneering work in safer eye surgery, he was awarded “Best Paper in Session” at the ASCRS national meeting. These awards added to his previous first place prize in the ASCRS 2016 Film Festival category of “New Techniques in Cataract Surgery”. His concepts for safer surgery and superior refractive outcomes are currently under development.
    At the request of Dr. David Chang, Professor of Ophthalmology, University of California San Francisco, Dr. Page had the distinct honor of contributing a chapter for the textbook “Advanced IOL Fixation Techniques: Strategies for Compromised or Missing Capsular Support”. The textbook serves as the definitive instructional resource for eye surgeons across the world for complex cataract surgery.
