- Dr. Timothy Graham is an endocrinologist in private practice at Diabetes & Endocrine Treatment Specialists (DETS) in Sandy, UT. Dr. Graham and his partner, Tannen Ellis-Graham, founded DETS in 2020 to bring cutting edge diabetes and endocrinology care to Utah. DETS is the largest private care center in Utah for Type 1 diabetes, with a high percentage of patients using insulin pumps. Dr. Graham provides comprehensive care for thyroid nodules and thyroid cancer at DETS, as well as specialized care for hypothyroidism, Graves' disease, hyperparathyroidism, high calcium, bone density problems, osteoporosis, pituitary and adrenal problems, menopausal hormone therapy, and men's hormone therapy. DETS is a center of excellence for pregnant women with diabetes, both pre-existing diabetes and gestational diabetes.
DETS has 4 full time midlevel diabetes and endocrinology specialty providers, 2 diabetes educators, and an RD to serve patients. We are always excited to see new patients, and prioritize new referrals in our scheduling so we can start their work-up and treatment process as quickly as possible. DETS accepts nearly all major commercial insurances, Medicare, and Medicaid.

Dr. Graham has an appointment with Intermountain Healthcare (Alta View Hospital, Sandy, UT). He has been in practice for over 21 years. He received his MD from U. New Mexico School of Medicine, completed Residency/Fellowship training at Harvard Medical School, and served as a professor of medicine at Harvard and U. of Utah for 15 years. He directed Thyroid Cancer services at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (Boston, MA), and George E. Wahlen VA Hospital (Salt Lake City, UT). He was director of the Diabetes and Obesity Clinical service lines for U. Utah Healthcare, and was acting director of the Utah Diabetes and Endocrinology Clinic at U. of Utah.
