Overview of Dr. Zellers

Dr. Thomas Zellers is a pediatric cardiologist in Dallas, TX and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Children's Medical Center Dallas. He received his medical degree from University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, completed pediatric training at University of Virginia and pediatric cardiology and interventional cardiology at the Mayo Clinic and Texas Childrens Hospital, respectively. He started his career as a basic science researcher in pulmonary artery and vein endothelial function. He evolved his practice to interventional cardiology and has been in practice 34 years. He is board certified in pediatric cardiology and adult congenital heart disease and currently specializes in both pediatric interventional cardiology and adult congenital heart disease.
He has been active in medical staff administration for 20 years and currently serves as the Senior Vice President for Medical Affairs at Children’s Health.
