I have been working in collaborative groups with several engineering departments (e. g. finite element simulation etc.). Research work resulted in 24 peer-reviewed scientific publications and about 25 congress abstracts.
  From about 2008 to 2010, I was responsible for teaching students at the department of orthopaedic surgery at Marburg University Hospital. As a deputy head of department at a large orthopaedic rehabilitation center affiliated with an orthopaedic university hospital, I could broaden my experience in conservative orthopaedics and rehabilitation.
  In my current daily work, I am specialized in conservative treatment of osteoarthritis of large joints, back pain and pediatric orthopaedic conditions. Mainstays of treatment are counseling, chirotherapy / osteopathic techniques, joint and soft tissue injections and acupuncture.
