Overview of Dr. Morrissey

Dr. Thomas Morrissey is a Gynecologic Oncologist in Boca Raton, FL and is affiliated with Lynn Cancer Institute/Baptist Health South Florida. He received his undergraduate degree from Columbia University, medical degree from State University of New York Upstate Medical University, OBGYN Residency at the University of Pittsburgh/Magee-Womens Hospital and Fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and has been in practice 22 years. He also speaks multiple languages, including Spanish. He specializes in gynecologic oncology and is dedicated to the surgical and chemotherapeutic treatment of all gynecologic malignancies including ovarian cancer, uterine cancer, cervical cancer, vulvar cancer, precancerous conditions of the vulva/vagina/cervix including management of abnormal pap smears, gynecologic care of patients with breast cancer, and care of patients with genetic mutations placing them at high risk for development of cancer. Dr. Morrissey also has extensive experience in robotic assisted laparoscopic surgery for cancer and complex benign conditions.
