- Dr. Terry Davies is an endocrinologist based in New York, NY, with subspecialties in thyroid disease including Graves' disease, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, thyroid nodules/cancer, osteoporosis and parathyroid disorders. He obtained his MB.BS and MD medical degrees from Newcastle University in the UK and also trained at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, MD. He is Director Emeritus of Endocrinology and Metabolism at the James J. Peters Veterans Affairs Medical Center and the Division of Endocrinology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He has served as the Baumritter Professor of Medicine since 1979. Dr. Davies has extensive experience in thyroid disorders, calcium and bone metabolism, thyroid cancer, and thyroid issues related to pregnancy. His research includes 500 publications in reputable journals such as Endocrinology and the Journal of the Endocrine Society. Over his career, he has received multiple accolades, including being listed in America's Top Doctors and Top Doctors: New York Metro Area by Castle Connolly and is a past President of the American Thyroid Association.
