Summary
- Dr. Terry Rager was raised in a small rural western Pennsylvania town of 700 people. He went on to earn a BS in Science, MS in Anatomy, and his MD degrees from Penn State University. Over the next 7 years he completed General Surgery Residency and earned a second MS degree in Medical Science at The Ohio State University Medical Center, where he also completed a two-year research fellowship in Pediatric Surgery at Nationwide Children's Hospital. He has been in practice since 2017, focused on providing his patients with the highest quality care for diseases of the thyroid, parathyroid, stomach, gallbladder, colon, rectum, and skin. He has a particular interests in robotic general surgery and in all types of hernias including hiatal hernia, and ventral incisional hernias. Terry strives to foster a relationship with his patients that could be described as professionalism without pretense, and he greatly enjoys seeing their lives improved as a result of the surgical treatment he provides.
