Dr. Terrence Gilbert is a Board Certified Physician specializing in Internal Medicine based in Pittsburgh, PA with a subspecialty in Critical Care Medicine. He obtained his DO from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1992. Following his education, he pursued a residency in Internal Medicine from 1993 to 1996 and a fellowship in Critical Care Medicine from 1996 to 1998, both at UPMC Medical Education. Throughout his career, Dr. Gilbert has worked as an Intensivist specializing in Critical Care Medicine and has created, developed and lead multiple highly successful Multi-Disciplinary Critical Care and Hospital Medicine Programs in Pittsburgh and the surrounding Tri-state area. He is the 2024 recipient of the 'Best Doctors in Pennsylvania' Award by Pennsylvania Magazine. He is the proud father of 5 children and currently resides, with his wife Lesley, in the Pittsburgh area.
