Summary

• I came to Boston in 2017 as a pediatric hospice and palliative medicine physician on the Pediatric Advanced Care Team at Boston Children’s Hospital and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. I am also an Assistant Professor in Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. I attended the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans and completed my pediatric residency at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. I earned a certificate in Medical Education at the University of Michigan Medical School. While on the faculty at the University of Michigan Medical School, I was an AOA faculty inductee (2014), League of Educational Excellence inductee (2015), and the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award recipient (2016). I am board certified in both General Pediatrics and in Hospice and Palliative Medicine. I am a senior clinician-educator with research interests in care for medically complex children with serious illnesses/conditions, medical education, professional values, and communication skills.
