- Dr. Teri Mauch is the Chief of Pediatric Nephrology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) and Children's Hospital in Omaha, NE. She received her medical degree from UNMC and has been in practice 30 years. She is experienced in congenital anomalies of the kidney and urinary tract, hemolytic uremic syndrome, hypertension, pediatric dialysis, as well as general pediatric nephrology. She has a PhD in Biochemistry, also from UNMC, and is experienced in both bench and patient based research. She is co-champion of the UNMC Child Health Research Institute (CHRI) Lifespan Disease pillar, and serves on the CHRI Internal Operations and Grants Review Committees. She is a founding member of the UNMC Pediatric Academic Workshop Series and continues to serve on the planning committee. She is co-chair of the UNMC Promotion and Tenure Committee, subcommittee B, for promotion to Assistant and Associate Professor, and Editor of the national American Academy of Pediatrics Section on Nephrology Newsletter.
