Summary

  • I am a PGY-3 pediatric resident at the University of South Alabama. I graduated from the University of Georgia in biomedical engineering and attended PCOM at their campus in Suwanee, Georgia. I have family and roots around northeast Atlanta, and look foward to returning after finishing my training!

During my residency, I have participated in the Alabama AAP chapter meetings to meet with local state representatives and to update my fellow residents on current initiatives for preventative care. I also try to gift my love of board games onto my coworkers~

Research History

  • Impact of Virtual Schooling on Weight GainThrough 113 surveys of the parents of my clinic's patients, I found a reduced rise in BMI in adolescents who participated in virtual schooling for most of both 2020 and 2021 during the COVID-19 Pandemic, although not statistically signficant due to sample size.2022 - 2023
