- A graduate of Cairo University, in Egypt, Dr. Naguib has received his postgraduate training from the Oklahoma University Health Sciences Center. He has been recertified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in the fields of internal medicine, infectious disease, and nephrology. Since beginning his private practice in 1995, Dr. Naguib has been actively involved in teaching initially at the Oklahoma University Health Sciences Center and then at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) in Amarillo. He assumed the position of the Regional Chair of Medicine in 2017. Dr. Naguib was awarded the Leadership Award from the AMA National Foundation and the Dean’s Community Faculty Award from TTUHSC among other awards. Dr. Naguib published and mentored numerous publications in presentation in internal medicine and provided medically-related review, editorial, and blog work. In addition to an MBA in healthcare from George Washington University, Dr. Naguib has been involved in hospital governance for 2 decades including the governing boards, executive, and credentialing committees, and directorship of dialysis, case management and hospital epidemiology. His mission is to enrich healthcare delivery through academia by teaching, writing, leading, and striving to provide individualized innovative patient care.
