He graduated in 2008 from New York Medical College where he also completed his training earning Annual Excellence and Outstanding performance awards. From beginning of his career, Dr. Moqattash realized that to truly serve his patients and provide quality care, physicians need to be involved in all aspects of patient care, directly through personal one on one care and indirectly having joined multiple committees in the Hospitals where he served his patients and joining Physician led organizations who strive to fight for quality patient care and rights. He earned certification from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement. He provided patient education classes in his community and served in numerous positions including Chief of Staff at VVGMC and Chairman of Medicine at multiple hospitals. In 2014, he was recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, a mark of distinction representing the pinnacle of integrity, professionalism, and scholarship. In 2017, he was elected a Board Member of the San Bernardino County Medical Society (SBCMS), the seventh largest county medical society in California. Inspired by the SBCMS vision in striving for the well-being of patients and the protection of the public health, he has been serving there since.
