Summary
- I have been a full-time practicing Cardiologist since 2014, with special expertise in Cardiac Electrophysiology. My practice encompasses the full spectrum of heart rhythm disorders (arrhythmias), including atrial fibrillation, tachycardias, bradycardias, pacemakers, defibrillators, and syncope or fainting. I also manage general cardiovascular disease, including coronary disease, valvular heart disease, and heart failure. The bulk of my time involves invasive procedures, including catheter ablation and pacemaker or defibrillator implantation. I am board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and clinical cardiac electrophysiology.
I earned my B.A. in Economics from Yale University, graduating with distinction. I then earned my M.D. from the University of Pennsylvania. Following this, I completed an Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College from 2006 to 2009, and received the Senior Resident Teaching Award. Finally, I completed my fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology at Northwestern University in 2013.
I have published research pertaining to coronary artery disease evaluation, atrial fibrillation management, sudden cardiac death risk stratification, medical device therapy for stroke prevention, and pacemaker and defibrillator management.
