Dr. Syed Mohiuddin, DO, is a general surgeon based in Austin, TX, with subspecialties in bariatric and minimally invasive surgery. He graduated from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2002 and completed his fellowship in Advanced GI Minimally Invasive Surgery at the Texas Endosurgery Institute. His residency in surgery was completed at HCA Medical City Healthcare UNT-TCU GME. Dr. Mohiuddin is a partner at Capital Surgeons Group PLLC and serves as a clinical assistant professor at the University of Texas at Austin Dell Medical School. Before his current roles, he owned Texas Laparoendoscopic Surgery PLLC from 2009 to 2021. He has experience in various types of minimally invasive surgeries and has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Mohiuddin is recognized as a Fellow of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons.
